We Take Part, a sustainable finance player, introduces crowdfunding platform to aid greentech startups

We Take Part, a sustainability organization based in Paris, France, has launched the first French equity crowdfunding platform exclusively dedicated to European Greentech companies. The platform aims to provide financing options for Greentech startups that are committed to adopting sustainable operational methods and reducing their gas emissions. We Take Part is focused on helping these companies access funding while also preserving the climate.

Shaila Sahai, the Founder and CEO of We Take Part, believes that the platform will be the first of its kind in France. She emphasizes that sustainability is a key criterion for companies looking to fundraise on the platform. Sahai states, “We believe in the power of collective effort and crowdfunding as an effective tool for business growth. We also believe that something can still be done to manage climate change. Our focus on achieving a green economy is our greatest driving force.”

Transparency is a priority for We Take Part, and the platform aims to empower funded companies to maintain a positive impact throughout the investment lifecycle. The sectors targeted for funding in the Greentech sector include agritech, sustainable fashion tech, sustainable mobility, sustainable energy solutions, and construction tech.

Sahai expresses a sense of responsibility to help Greentech companies take the sustainability route and address climate change at its source. She pledges We Take Part’s commitment to working with these companies to help them thrive and accelerate solutions that protect the environment.
