Un:hurd Music opens up crowdfunding opportunity to community of artists, managers and labels

Un:hurd Music last month completed a strategic funding round including reinvestment from industry figures.

The music marketing platform has now opened up a crowdfunding initiative to enable its 185,000-strong community to become co-owners of the brand.

The company has opened the doors to its artists, managers and record labels to become investors in the business on crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.

“We’ve built a fantastic community of incredibly talented artists, managers, and record labels from all over the world in the last few years,” said Alex Brees, CEO and Founder of Un:hurd Music. “These creators believed in us at an early stage of our own journey, and I want to give them a chance to own a piece of what we’re building. If we win, they win too, all while benefiting from our tools along the way. It’s a win-win-win!”

Un:hurd music have structured the crowdfunding campaign in a way which allows artists to invest as little as £15 to become part-owners of the brand. Certain members of the community will also have a chance to access a free lifetime pro membership, free tickets for life to the Un:hurd showcases and more, depending on the amount invested.

This year, Un:hurd Music has worked on domestic and international campaigns including the UK No.1 album from The K’s, Tinie Tempah’s global relaunch and Fraser T Smith’s artist project Future Utopia.

The company has signed new partnerships with Amuse, Kosign and Bandsintown.

The data-driven music marketing platform supports independent artists with a suite of tools to help creators understand their audience, grow their fanbase and promote their music effectively.
