Donald Trump has endorsed a crowdfunding effort to support victims of Saturday night’s shooting at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump was shot, a bullet from an assault rifle piercing his right ear.
The former president and presumptive Republican nominee was quickly attended to by his Secret Service detail while other agents neutralized the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks.
A man in the crowd died, and two others were injured.
Corey Comperatore a father of two girls, a firefighter and avid Trump supporter, was killed. The others are in critical condition, officials have said.

Donald Trump has lent his support to a GoFundMe campaign for rally attendees.
Nearly $2 million had been raised as of mid-afternoon Sunday, with large donations coming from celebrities and politicians.
“All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation,” the fundraising campaign said.
