Pedalsure, a UK cycling insurance provider, has announced a crowdfunding campaign to fuel the launch of its new multi-product specialist insurance brand, Coverbase.
The campaign, open now on Crowdcube, invites investors and cyclists alike to be part of an expansion drive that will bring Pedalsure’s expertise in bicycle insurance to several new product categories.
Pedalsure’s new brand Coverbase aims to address the growing need for comprehensive cover for high-value personal items that are often underserved by standard home insurance.
Coverbase is ready to launch with premium watch insurance as its first product, followed by jewellery, cameras, and musical instruments.
The investment will be used to boost market share, invest in people to grow the team, and support the launch of the next products on Coverbase’s roadmap after watch insurance.
Investors in the crowdfunding campaign will own a piece of the business, share in the upside, and receive exclusive discounts on insurance with both Pedalsure and Coverbase for three years.
