The Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley is mourning the loss of certified nursing assistant Rose Lacroix, who was stabbed to death in Brockton in June. Authorities have called this a “fatal domestic violence incident.”
The director of Elizabeth Seton Residence has organized a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for Lacroix’s family (donation page). Her brother is the only family here in the United States and he needs assistance to pay for her funeral as well as travel expenses for her 9-year-old son and her mother to travel from Haiti for the services.
“This awful event has impacted our staff in a significant way, and raising funds is one action step we can take to help honor Rose’s memory and assist her family,” writes Elizabeth Seton’s Lori Ferrante.
