Celebrities and Mega-Millionaires Request Complimentary Apartments in Miami's Most Opulent New Building: Astonishing Requests

Developer Gil Dezer, known for his Porsche and Bentley-branded towers in Florida, reveals that celebrities and the super-rich often request free apartments. Rapper Future is purchasing a $7.5 million unit at Dezer’s Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, which includes a private pool and a four-car “sky garage.” However, some stars are looking for an eight-figure discount. Dezer shares that he frequently receives calls from celebrities demanding free apartments, but Future approached him politely and asked for a good price. Dezer finds it crazy that mega-millionaires expect freebies. The Bentley building is a 62-story tower with 216 units set to be completed in 2027. Condos start at $5.65 million and offer luxurious amenities such as heated floors, home saunas, outdoor showers, and balcony pools. Dezer’s patented car parking system, the Dezervator, provides privacy by taking residents and their cars directly to their units. Future’s purchase has generated interest from other A-listers, with publicists requesting private tours in exchange for passes to football games, concert tickets, or jewelry. Dezer emphasizes that while gifts are nice, this is a business, and interested buyers must pay and sign the contract. Chef Todd English will curate a menu for a private restaurant in the building’s lobby with ocean views. Dezer’s client list includes Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, and NFL star siblings Trevon and Stefon Diggs.
