UPERFECT is running a crowdfunding campaign for another dual touchscreen monitor, this time with a choice of 16 inch or 18 inch models featuring 2560 x 1600 pixel, 120 Hz displays. After a pretty disastrous launch of its first product, the makers of the Humane Ai Pin are looking to sell the company. And there may be another name in the handheld gaming PC space soon… kind of.
Here’s a roundup of recent tech news from around the web.
Delta Pro Touch dual touchscreen monitor [Indiegogo]
UPERFECT’s latest dual-screen monitor is the Delta Pro Touch, which features a pair of 16 or 18 inch, 2560 x 1600px, 120 Hz touchscreen displays with an adjustable stand. UPERFECT is running a crowdfunding campaign now, with rewards starting at $699 and up, and the dual-screen displays should begin shipping in July. This new campaign comes less than a year after the company ran a crowdfunding campaign for the original Delta (and Delta Max, and Max Pro), with prices starting as low as $359 for lower-spec models.

The Humane Ai Pin generated a lot of buzz when the wearable AI-enabled device was unveiled last year. But it was met by pretty lousy reviews when it arrived this year. Now the founders are said to be looking to sell the company. It remains unclear whether anyone’s interested in buying though.

While Tom’s Hardware seems to think that the device will be a rebranded AYANEO Slide based on an image included in the article, I’m skeptical based on the estimated price.
